The
philosophies that drive the wellness practices that
I advocate have come from several decades of
seeking, learning, and incorporating. I have
aspired to solidify these practices more and more
into my daily life to make them habits.
My 4 main wellness practices are:
Chiropractic care in a wellness model- (weekly or bi-weekly)
Adjustments utilized in a pro-active way to optimize the function of the nervous system
As the nervous system controls every action, function and regeneration of the body, it is probably a smart idea to keep it working optimally before something “goes wrong.”
Active and Passive Meditations (daily)
ECKHART TOLLE, ALDOUS HUXLEY, DR SID WILLIAMS, KEN WILBER, STEPHEN GASKIN, SRI CHINMOY, RAMANA MAHARSHI, SRI AUROBINDO, MAHARISHI MAHESH YOGI, JEDDU KRISHNAMURTI, SWAMI MUKTANANDA, PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA, MASARU EMOTO, JOHN MUIR, DT SUZUKI, ALAN WATTS, JOHN KABAT-ZINN AND DR JOE DISPENZA are some of the people whose works have influenced me the most. I have created my own combination of ideas into a novel experience which is a combination of passive and active meditation.
Fitness (daily)
A synergy of strength, flexibility and endurance training that has been molded into a program where they all feed into one another. It is a mixture of high intensity weight training, cardio training, and post cardio stretch routines allowing the warm muscles to be stretched properly for an extended duration.
Eating to thrive (daily)
There is SO MUCH emotional attachment to foods and to eating in general. This is a way to evolve into a way of eating that fuels your body and boosts your body’s expression of health. We advocate an organic, vegan and raw diet. Education is the key to learning how to get all you need and more with this style of eating, and learning how to satisfy the emotional attachments that we all suffer with.
Other wellness practices
Floatation
Homeopathy and Herbal remedies
Massage
Practicing presence
Nature Appreciation
There are others…
